Massage Therapist

Marina has joined the Physio and Exercise Lab team as our Massage Therapist. Originally from Belgrade, Serbia, Marina and her family had been living in Sydney for the past 10 years before recently relocating to Perth. As an experienced Massage Therapist with a Diploma in Remedial massage, Marina is also a massage trainer and assessor, sharing her knowledge and skillset with budding Massage Therapists. Adding to her extensive list of achievements, Marina also has a Bachelor in Sport and Physical Education, was involved in martial arts in Judo for 10 years, and has previously worked as a Personal Trainer and Reformer Pilates Instructor.

Marina loves working with her clients, helping to relieve the stress and pressure of everyday life and making them feel better within themselves. She believes in the importance of a holistic approach to massage, considering all aspects of the clients lifestyle and tailoring the session to their needs. She is a strong believer in massage as a treatment, and loves investigating to find the cause of the clients muscular pain.

Marina will be offering a wide range of services including: remedial massage, sports massage, relaxation/Swedish massage, Pregnancy massage, dry needling, and cupping.

Outside of the clinic, Marina keeps her self busy sharing time with friends and family, she loves to be active with things such as running, Pilates, and sport in general.

Qualifications

Marina holds a Diploma in Remedial Massage and is a certified massage trainer and assessor. With a Bachelor’s degree in Sport and Physical Education and a background in martial arts (Judo for 10 years), Marina brings a wealth of experience. She has also worked as a Personal Trainer and Reformer Pilates Instructor. Marina takes a holistic approach to massage, customising sessions to clients’ needs and investigating the causes of muscular pain.
